Wing rib fluting

It may look like it, but I'm not really stoned here. ;-P

I find fluting goes really well if you sight down along the edge while squeezing the fluting pliers. You can watch the rib straighten as you squeeze the pliers. It makes it easy to get the rib straight with the first attempt.

My dad's cutting some angle aluminum for making the wing jig supports. I suggested using my Dewalt miter saw to make these cuts, but he was concerned cutting aluminum would damage the blade. Later on, I made some cuts on the miter saw. It was a lot faster than the hack saw and gave a lot nicer cut too. We cut aluminum extrusion all the time at work using a carbide-tipped blade, so I was pretty sure it'd be OK.
