After a call to my friend, Brent, to ask how he put the groove in his snap bushings and a quick trip to Sears Hardware, I broke out the Dremel and put the grooves in the snap bushings to allow routing the capacitive fuel sender wires.

I also dabbed over the shop heads of some of the tank rivets.
