Installed last tank rib!

This photo is actually from late on Tuesday night. Kerin's out of town today and tomorrow, so I crashed on the sofa when I got home. Around 10:00pm I woke up and headed down to the shop to rivet in the final tank rib. I also dabbed the rivet heads.

As a side note, I've been thinking of whether to spread sealant fillets of proseal around the edges of the ribs. This is what is recommended in the instructions, but I've been trying to maintain a very clean tank and I figured that the fillets would just make a tremendous mess without providing much benefit. However, I think I've decided to go with the fillets. It's going to be quite a bit more work to add them, but there's already so much work in these tanks that I think it'll be good insurance against leaks. Maybe tomorrow (later today) I'll stop by Home Depot or Sears to pick up a bunch of masking tape. I figure I'll mask off the areas on either sides of the fillets to hopefully contain the mess and ease the cleanup. I can't wait till these tanks are done. They're definitely the least pleasant job so far on the project.
