Well I was sick through the weekend, so I didn't really get anything done on the plane, but this evening after work, my dad and I riveted on the right flap brace, then we re-jigged the left wing to ensure it was straight and started putting on the bottom skins. He was a bit uneasy with the rivet gun (afraid to screw something up), but got the hang of it quickly.

We got the third and fourth ribs completely riveted before he had to cash in for the night. It's too bad he's flying back home to Nevada tomorrow. We could get a bunch of this knocked out. Well, I placed a call to my friend, Dan, earlier today. He's gonna try to get clearance from his controller (i.e. wife) to come help rivet the bottom skins on sometime soon.
