This evening I trimmed the aft end of the left canopy deck. It came out quite nicely.

After that I decided to jump back to the firewall. I unpacked the battery box and marked out the four lightening holes. This fly cutter scares the crap outta me, but the holes come out pretty well.

Eight frightening holes later, I had this. I still need to debur all the holes. A couple of them on the back got slightly jagged edges. I'll have to smooth all that out with the die grinder and a small scotchbrite wheel.
