Well I spent another few hours working on polishing the firewall again today. The finish is getting better, but you can still see little scratches in the surface.

It looks pretty good if you don't catch the reflections of light in the scratches. I placed another call to Craig at Caswell plating. After some conversation I decided to purchase some more stuff. A bar of blue polishing compound, a wheel rake, and some canton flannel wheels should be on the way.
