I clecoed on the side skins tonight and match drilled them to the F-704
and F-705 bulkheads. The plans just said to cleco the F-704H side plates
to the forward and aft halves of the F-704 main spar bulkhead, but I figured
if I was going to be doing match drilling, I might as well match drill through
all three layers at once.
I decided that since my edge distance wasn't great for the F-623A-AFT tie plates
(especially the left one), I would remake them out of .063 thick aluminum. This
scrap bellcrank arm is just what the doctor ordered.
They look good. Much heavier duty than the .032 ones.
