I started this evening by clecoing the lower portion of the baggage
bulkhead to the F-706 bulkhead. I noticed that I had mis-drilled the
hole for the snap bushing for the static line. It's supposed to be 5/16
inch to the right. I suppose I'll have to notch the bulkhead around
this hole to make room for the snap bushing. Sigh.

Next, I cut a strip of aluminum to use as a radius guide.
I drilled a 1/16 inch hole near each end. The holes are 8 1/2 inches apart
to match the radius prescribed on the plans for the upper portion of the baggage
bulkhead.

Here's how the radius strip works. Stick something pointy in the center hole and
a sharpie in the perimeter hole and mark 'er out.
After some work with the bandsaw, sander, and file the radii were complete
on both corners.
Next I made the little 3/8 inch wide notches for the shoulder harness cables to
pass through. That's the end of the work for tonight.

My order from Avery came today. I ordered one of their wheel jacks. It looks nicely
constructed. I'm sure it'll come in very handy when the plane is on it's gear and it's
time to work on the wheels.
