I started dimpling nutplates tonight, but my squeezer had a pretty bad air leak
that was driving me crazy, so I took the fitting apart. The little o-ring on the swivel
portion was worn out. Unfortunately the Sears Hardware right by the house didn't have
the correct size o-ring, so I had to run up to Ace Hardware. $.72 later and I was back
in business.
There are a lot of nutplates on these seat floor ribs. They take 30 of the single lug
variety and 80 of the regular K1000 ones. The squeezer dimpled them in no time and I
didn't even dimple my fingers! :-)
It took around 2 1/2 hours to get 'em all installed. Not bad for a weeknight.
