Fabricating sub floor stiffeners

Well, I bet this elevator skin has just about given up all hope of ever serving time on my airplane. Tonight was it's night...sort of. While looking around for some material to make floor stiffeners for the sub floor, I spied this skin. Quickly passing the trailing edge through the band saw turned a single top-and-bottom skin into two separate pieces. Another minute and a half of bandsawing had all the stiffeners gone, then it was on to a lot of cutting on the shear.

A couple hours later, I had a stack of ten blanks 6 3/8 x 2 5/16 inch. These turned out very nice and uniform thanks to that Di-Acro shear I found on eBay a while ago. It's only a 12" shear, but man does it do a nice job. I'll try to get 'em bent up tomorrow.
