Pushrod tunnel cover and center arm rest

In order to match drill the sides of the center arm rest to the flap actuator channel, these nutplates need to be removed.

A couple pieces of thinwall brass tubing were used to step up the drill size, while keeping the match drill perfectly centered on the screw holes.

Stubby angle bit being used with the thinwall tubing.

I also decided to add an extra screw here, near the top edge of the arm rest.

...the screw gets a nutplate, so break out the nutplate drilling jig.

I also drilled up the holes in the side of the pushrod tunnel cover to accept #8 screws.

...and drilled and countersunk for nutplates.
