Center arm rest lid

I had realized a while back that due to the pivoting motion of the lid, the corner radii nearest the hinge need to be removed. I filed them away, being careful not to damage the shoulder of the inner or outer lip.

I had been dreading this trimming operation for a while. If I were to f*#k this up, a whole lot of work would need to be redone. It went fine.

I sanded the center tab to .250 high all the way around the lid.

I found another low spot, so filled it with a bit of micro.

I also filled the hole in this angle bracket with a bit of micro. I'll sand it smooth and no one will be the wiser once it's painted.

Later in the afternoon, I sanded away the excess.
