Turning seatbelt bushings

I started parting off the seat belt bushings today. Unfortunately, this little lathe has a very hard time with parting operations. It's nigh impossible to prevent it from chattering. The chatter, in turn resulted in enough vibration for one of my chuck screws to back out and crash into the cross slide. This is a fillister head screw... commonly used in counterbored applications. I didn't have any of those, so I went to Ace Hardware to acquire one. Unfortunately, they didn't have one either. :-/
