Fitting canopy brace parts

Today, I sanded and polished out all the marks left by the edge rolling tool. Next was to form the flanges around the lightening holes. I initially attempted to use a scrap of oak to do this forming, but the wood was too soft. So, I made a simple notched forming tool from a scrap of 1/8" thick aluminum. While I was working on that, Jo was over helping out and worked on a bearing bracket which will serve as a stop for the canopy struts (no pictures, sorry). Tomorrow, I'll probably get started on fitting the last piece of the canopy stiffening kit.
