I want the little bellcrank to mount to this cover on a 1/4" bolt, but I also want the bolt to be supported under the head...not just by the threaded end. So, I fabricated a little support which will span the side cover.

It can be challenging to make two bends in a part so that the resulting U is a nice match for some existing geometry. This came out well enough.

Positioned and drilled. These holes will be enlarged to #19 to accomodate some #8 screws.
