Here's what the new bearing bracket will look like. Note the additional mounting tab that will hold it to the canopy deck just aft of the panel.

I decided to install and tighten all the popup tipup hardware, including the rod end bearings that push up and down on the forward end of the popup tipup arms. To tighten those rod ends, I needed to make a little custom wrench to prevent the rod end bearing housing from being twisted while tightening the jam nut.
