Jo was over today. We worked together on determing the details for putting a series of lightening holes in the seat backs. Originally, we were considering only putting holes in every other flat zone so there was room for velcro in the remaining flat areas.

We used the hole template to draw in a few different sizes of holes. The 1 1/2" holes looked about right.

Next, we laid out several 1 1/2" holes with various spacing for evaluation. We decided on 7/16" between holes (1 15/16" center-to-center).
