Jo was over again today and laid out the hole centers for all of the lightening holes in the seat backs. All holes will be 1 1/2" diamter. There will be six rows of six holes, yielding a weight savings of 5 ounces (2.5 ounces per seat back).

After joe headed out, I worked on layering up poster board on the arm rest itself.

I used some foam blocks to support this piece of masonite for the bay below the arm rest. It completely covers up the PVC tube that is clearance for the rudder cables.
