Repainting glare shield

I wet sanded down the paint sags on my prior painting attempt.

Here was the worst one. It's still slightly visible, but this rivet is proud, so it'll have to be good enough. I've been sanding these down with 600 grit, then 2000 grit.

Repainted and drying again in my dining area. I don't there are any sags this time.

Time to start cleaning up the side pocket mold to make the second part. First step after attaching the nine mold pieces to the backing board is to scrape off all this remaining primer.

Much better.

Now sand everything smooth.

Fill in the low spots (largely a result of the scraping) with Bondo glazing putty.
