Today I fabricated and fitted the guide blocks for the forward end of the popup tipup lever assembly.

I also joggled the forward ends of the lever side plates. As you may recall, these lever side plates have a 1/4 inch spacer to create a gap for the canopy frame bracket, but at the forward end, I'll be attaching a rod end bearing. Since the width of this bearing is 5/16, each arm needs to be joggled 1/32 inch. The joggles shown here are slightly too much (about 3/32 total instead of 1/16). I later flattened them out a bit to achieve the desired 1/16 total space.
