I was going to order the cam bearings from Aircraft Spruce, but they wanted nearly $40 per bearing. Since I need four for the popup tipup mechanism and another two for the canopy strut stops, that was goign to be a hefty order. Instead, I shopped around. Found a place that had some surplus bearings in stock in florida for $5 each. They had a minimum order of $50, so I ordered qty 10 instead of the six I needed. They arrived today. Not the best condition. These things are ancient and some have corrosion on the outside, and for all of them, the lubricant seems pretty dried up.

I decided to soak them in some oil to see if I could revive them.
