Jo was over today and I asked his opinion about how to position this pocket relative to the side panel. We ended up going with his recommendation.

What we did was to just tape the pocket in place, see how it fit, then take the panel back out and reposition / re-tape it as needed. It took several iterations, but we managed to determine the location in a reasonable amount of time. I traced around the pocket flange for future repositioning and bonding.
